Chats over a glass

Chats over a Glass are internal events organized by the IIPS Student Section exclusively for our members. These gatherings bring students together with experts to discuss specific topics. The primary goal of these discussions is to explore the issue in more depth through an intensive debate, which is often not possible within the standard curriculum. The discussions take place in the pleasant setting of a wine bar and are accompanied by a glass of good wine and light refreshments.

In the past, we have hosted discussions on topics such as “The Development, Nature, and Current State of Western Values – Do They Even Exist?” with Professor Jiří Hanuš and Pavel Pšeja, as well as “Front National, Alternative für Deutschland, and UK Independence Party – Anti-System Parties as a Threat or a New Concept of Politics?” with Associate Professor Vít Hloušek.
